Fotodiox’s FUSION smart adapter enables Nikon AF-I and AF-S lenses to autofocus on Sony E-Mount cameras with Phase Detect AF. This includes the A7, A7II, A7RII, A6000, A6300 and A6500 cameras.
It joins Commlite’s Auto Focus adapter (also know as Vello) as one of only two adapters on the market that retain AF capability, Aperture Control, Recording of EXIF data and Image Stabilisation.
One of the challenges facing the companies making these adapters is that Nikon lenses use mechanical aperture control (they are not fully electronic like the Canon lenses).
Note > Sony Artisan Jason Lanier’s A6300 died when he was testing this adapter in November 2016. You may want to read independent reviews about its reliability and performance before ordering this adapter.
