Toning Action: Classic Old Film Color Drift Look

This action set includes multiple actions for emulating old film (a series of color drift actions), cross-processed film, split-toned images and classic sepia and bronze toning effects. The user can play each action separately or play a combination action that creates multiple layers in the same file, each with a different color effect or tone. These color toning actions use some advanced techniques that force targeted colors to drift or shift to create some characteristic stylized effects.

All layers in the single effect actions are retained to allow the user to fine-tune the process if desired. For users of the full version of Photoshop the actions record a snapshot in the History panel as the first step, and this allows the user to ‘undo’ the action with a single click if required. When using Photoshop Elements the users can simply click on the Undo button in the Options bar to return the image to the starting point.
