Sony’s Marvelous Multi-selector

Multi-selector

In this tutorial I demonstrate how Sony’s multi-selector has multiple functions. The multi-selector arrived on the third generation of Sony’s full-frame mirrorless cameras, but there may be some of its functionality you have overlooked. You may be unaware how it changes its functionality as you change your AF Mode and AF area. It can be used to move a spot AF point but it can also be used to override AF-C and Continuous AF, manage you manual focus workflows, initiate Centre-Lock on AF and be used to navigate the Menus and Fn menu faster than the Control Wheel and Centre button.
