Creating an ‘Import Preset’ will fast-track the importation of images to the correct location with the correct settings every time.
Adobe refer to settings you have used as ‘sticky’ settings so will be remembered the next time the Import dialog opens. If, however, you sometimes import images to different drives, or occasionally ‘add’ images that are already on the computer, it is recommended that you create an Import Preset so that you can recall the appropriate import settings with just one click.
