2 Day Creative Workshop
Join Mark Galer, as he helps take your photographic skills to the next level, indulge in the great local food, coffee & wine, while making new friends.
Over the course of the weekend, Mark will personally guide you through a variety of image editing seminars and photographic shoots, including portraiture, street and seascape, in order to make fantastic photographs in this majestic & fascinating location.
The price of the workshop includes morning and afternoon tea/coffee + all meals, including lunch on both days and Sunday breakfast at the venue overlooking the sea and an evening meal at a waterfront restaurant. You will also be given a complimentary book written by Mark Galer + eBooks, hours of video tutorials + Mark Galer’s favourite Photoshop actions and Lightroom Presets.
Group size is limited to 12 attendees or smaller and Mark will be supported by Professional Photographer and team member Abhijit Chattaraj and three models.

This 2 Day Workshop Will Cover
In this creative project, you will be shown the optimum camera settings to capture decisively so that you can concentrate on capturing fleeting moments, rather than worrying about whether you have the correct camera settings. Models (on the move) will be provided to allow you to hone your creative skills. Special Guest photographer Thomas Lim joins us for this shoot (making three pro photographers supporting this shoot) and shares his invaluable tips and techniques for capturing great Street images.
Mark Galer is the Photoshop Ambassador for the Asia/Pacific region and is a recognised Guru. He will share his essential skills so you can optimise & enhance your images to express your creative vision. Quickly and easily learn how to transform snapshots into great shots with Mark’s handy tips and techniques. You will also take away hours of free post production video tutorials, Photoshop Actions and Lightroom presets.
In this project we will work at sunset and sunrise (optional for sleepy heads). You will be shown the optimum camera settings to capture stunning long-exposure seascapes. You will then master the craft of keeping sharp focus throughout your scene, using remote release, while blurring the sea to capture the tranquil mood of this stunning location.
In this project you will be shown the optimum camera settings to capture a professional quality portrait, with very shallow depth of field, while ensuring the eyes are kept pin sharp. You will have the opportunity to work with a Sony prime lens (that lends itself to this type of work) and a model while you practice the skills of Focus Peaking, Focus magnify, and Eye-AF.

Your Mentor
MARK GALER
Mark has a commercial background in editorial photography and is a recognised Photoshop expert.
He is a former Program Director of the BA photography program at RMIT University and has published thirty books for the international publisher Focal Press.
His books have been translated into seven languages including Chinese and Russian and have been adopted widely across Europe and the USA as curriculum texts for aspiring commercial photographers.
Mark is a contributing editor for Australian Photography Magazine, and an Adobe and Sony Alpha Ambassador for Australia.
